Terms and conditions of the „Huras Family decoration idea” competition
§1 General provisions
- The Organiser of the Competition is GLASSWARE ART.-STUDIO INTERNATIONAL S.C.PIOTR PRZEMYSŁAW HURAS with its seat in Blachownia, ul. Wojska Polskiego 9, NIP: 5732472190, REGON: 151987532 hereinafter referred to as the „Organiser”.
- The Competition is conducted on the terms and conditions described in these Terms and Conditions in accordance with generally applicable provisions of Polish law.
- The Competition starts on 20.08.2024r. at 5:00 p.m. and ends on 05.09.2024r. at 23:59:59 Polish time.
§2 Participants and rules of the Competition
- Participation in the Competition is voluntary and free of charge.
- The Competition is open to a natural person (a consumer as defined by Article 22 of the Civil Code), hereinafter referred to as Participant, who:
a) has read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and has consented to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of the Competition by entering the Competition;
b) is over 18 years of age and has full legal capacity;
c) has a public account (profile) on Instagram;
d) shall complete the Competition Task.
- The Competition Participant can only be a person who fulfils the conditions laid down in §2. point 2 of the Regulations.
- Employees of the Organiser and those providing services to the Organiser in the course of organising the Competition on the basis of civil law contracts, as well as members of the immediate family (spouses, ascendants, descendants and siblings) of the above-mentioned persons are excluded from participation in the Competition.
- In order to participate in the Competition, during the Competition period, the Participant will:
a) like the Competition post.
b) in a comment under the Competition post, describe their idea for the next ornament from the Huras Family collection.
- Completing the Competition Task means posting under the competition post located on Instagram at

- Only those Participants who complete the Competition Task during the Competition will take part in the Competition.
- A Participant may take part in the Competition 1 (in words: one) time.
- The Organiser reserves the right to remove and not include in the Competition Entries whose authors:
a) do not act in their own name but through third parties;
b) operate from fictitious accounts/profiles on Instagram;
c) create fictitious accounts/profiles on Instagram;
d) they have violated Instagram’s terms of service;
e) used in the Competition Task words commonly regarded as offensive, pornographic content, content propagating racial, ethnic or religious hatred, or content discriminating against social groups, or violated the personal interests of third parties or the Organiser.
§3 Rights to the completed Competition Tasks
- The Participant assures that the completed Competition Task will not violate any rights or property of the Organiser or any third parties, in particular their property and personal copyrights and personal wealth.
- The Participant states that they have exclusive and unlimited copyright to the Competition Task they have created, and that the Competition Task they have created is not encumbered with any third-party rights, and that the work has not been published before.
- Pursuant to Art. 921 § 3 of the Civil Code Act, upon confirmation of the winner – acquisition of a non-exclusive and gratuitous licence to the Contest Task awarded in the Contest without time and territorial limitations, the awarded Contest Participant (Winner) grants the Organiser a non-exclusive and gratuitous licence to the awarded Contest Task in the following fields of exploitation:
a) within the scope of recording and multiplication of the work – production of copies of the work by a specified technique, including printing, reprography, magnetic recording and digital technique;
b) within the scope of trading in the original or copies on which the work has been fixed – marketing, lending or leasing the original or copies;
c) within the scope of dissemination of the work in a manner other than specified in point b – public performance, exhibition, display, reproduction, as well as broadcasting and re-broadcasting, as well as making the work available to the public in such a manner that everyone can have access to it at a place and time individually chosen by them, including entering the work into computer memory as well as into telecommunication and IT networks.
- Due to the gratuitous nature of the Winner’s benefits under these Terms and Conditions, the Winner shall not be entitled to any monetary compensation from the Organiser.
§4 Prizes and selection of Winners
- To ensure the proper conduct of the Competition, the Organiser will appoint a three-person commission, hereinafter referred to as the Competition Commission. The tasks of the Competition Committee shall include overseeing the proper course of the Competition, deciding on all matters pertaining to the Competition, including the interpretation of the provisions hereof, and selecting the Participants to whom the Prizes shall be awarded (hereinafter referred to as the Winners). The decisions of the Committee shall be final, which shall not deprive the Participant of the right to pursue claims under the law.
- After the end of the Competition, the Competition Committee will evaluate the Competition Tasks performed by the Participants and will select among the Participants 1 (in words: one) winner, who, in the opinion of the Competition Committee, performed the Competition Task in the most attractive, inspiring and creative manner.
- The following prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Competition: 3 pieces of an ornament made on the basis of the winning competition idea.
- The Prizes are exempt from personal income tax pursuant to Article 21(1)(68) of the PIT Act.
- The Committee shall conclude the determination of the Winner no later than 10.09.2024.
- The winner of the Contest will be informed of having won the Prize by indicating the name of the profile (account) in the Organizer’s profile on Instagram

- Information on winning the Prize will be sent to the Winners after they have contacted the organiser.
- In order to receive the Prize, the Winner must provide the information necessary for the Prize to be handed over, including but not limited to: name, surname, email address, telephone number and postal address. The Winner must provide this information in an email to info@hurasfamily.pl within 14 days of the Organizer’s announcement of the results.
- The Organiser shall not be liable for not delivering the Prize to the Participant if the failure to deliver the Prize was solely due to the Participant’s failure to provide the data required for delivery of the Prize or providing incorrect or inconsistent data.
- Each Prize will be sent once by the Organiser to the address indicated by the Winner by 15.12.2024.
- The Organiser is the founder of the Prize.
- The Winner may not transfer the rights to the Prize awarded to a third party.
- The Winner has the opportunity to waive his/her right to the Prize by submitting a written statement to the Organiser.
- You can only receive the Prize 1 (in words: one) time in the Competition.
- The Prize will be sent to the Participant at the Organiser’s expense.
- The Participant is not entitled to request the Prize to be exchanged for a cash prize.
§5 Personal Data
- The organiser is the administrator of the Participants’ personal data. Contact with the Organiser is possible by correspondence to the address: ul. Wojska Polskiego 9, 42-290 Blachownia and by e-mail at info@hurasfamily.pl.
- The basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(a) RODO the consent of the Participants to participate in the Contest and Article 6(1)(f) i.e. the legitimate interest of the administrator, in particular with regard to the recognition of complaints and the assertion of claims.
- Participants’ personal data will be processed to the extent and for the purpose necessary to carry out the Competition, select the Winners, deal with any complaints and, in the case of the Winners, also to notify them of the awarding of the Prize and to release the Prize.
- Provision of personal data is voluntary, however, it is a condition for the distribution of Prizes to Winners or for the lodging of complaints regarding identification and address data.
- Personal data will be stored for the duration of the Competition, and after its termination until the statute of limitations for possible claims or the expiry of the obligation to store data under the law, no longer than 5 years, from the end of the calendar year in which the Competition was held.
- The Organiser shall exercise the rights of data subjects, i.e. access to the content of their data and the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to data portability.
- Where personal data is processed on the basis of consent, the Participant has the right to withdraw consent, at any time, and the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent requires electronic notification to the email address info@hurasfamily.pl.
- The recipients of the data are: entities providing hosting services, postal services, entities with which the Organiser cooperates within the framework of accounting and tax services, public authorities on the basis and within the limits of the law, in particular such as KAS, law enforcement agencies.
- Personal data are not processed automatically and subject to profiling.
§ 6 Complaints
- The Participants of the Competition have the right to lodge a written complaint, which should be sent to info@hurasfamily.pl or to the correspondence address: ul. Wojska Polskiego 9, 42-290 Blachownia, during its duration or 14 days after the end of the Competition.
- The letter containing the complaint should indicate the name and surname of the Participant and the correspondence address to which a reply to the complaint will be sent.
- The Organiser shall respond to the complaint within 14 days to the Participant by registered letter sent to the address specified in the letter containing the complaint.
- Negative consideration of a complaint by the Organiser does not exclude the Participant’s right to pursue claims to which he is entitled under generally applicable laws, including by way of court proceedings.
§7 Final provisions and technical information
- The Rules shall come into force on 09.08.2024.
- The Competition is not a promotional lottery within the meaning of Art. 2, sec. 1, item. 9 of the Act on Games and Betting of 29.07.1992 [Dz. U. z 2004 r., Nr 4, poz. 27, z późn. zm.] and is not subject to the rules contained in the aforementioned Act and executive regulations to that Act.
- The Competition Organiser does not bear responsibility for the inability of a potential Participant to submit the completed Competition Task for reasons attributable solely to the Participant.
- The Terms and Conditions of the Contest are made available during the Competition by means of a public telecommunication network on the Internet at the URL address:
- The Organiser undertakes to make every effort to resolve amicably any disputes that may arise in connection with the Competition.
- A court of competent jurisdiction shall have jurisdiction in accordance with the law.
- This Contest is in no way organised, sponsored, conducted or endorsed by or associated with the Instagram service.
- The entity solely responsible for the conduct of the Competition is the Organiser, and Participants agree to indemnify the Instagram service from any liability that may arise in connection with the organisation of the Competition.
- A change to the Terms and Conditions requires publication and informing Participants of the changes made by the Organiser. Changes can only be made for reasons of adapting the Regulations to the norms of the applicable legislation.
